Class 1 made fruit drinks for DT topic and Class 1 and 2 raised £41.00 for the RSPCA making fruit cocktails. (March 2010).

We celebrated World Book Day by dressing as our favourite characters. (March 2010).

We had a special assembly at the end of Culture week where each class shared what they had done during the week and talked about their class visitors.(February 2010).

Reception class celebrated cultures in our school (February 2010).

In Science, Year five carried out an investigation to find out which material was the best insulator of sound.

Kenley’s football team took part in a tournament recently (Jan 2010).

Years 5 and 6 organised a book sale recently (Jan 2010).

To celebrate Sports Relief Day on Friday 12th  March, the children may come to school dressed in sports kit or school uniform with wacky socks.

WoW (Walk on Wednesday)
For new parents who have not participated in this before WoW is a day when we encourage parents and children to walk to school. If you have to come by car we ask that you park away from school and walk the last bit. If you come by bus please try and get off a few stops earlier and walk the last bit. 86 children walked to school this week.
